Long Wait and Steering Issues After a Tyre Change

I booked an appointment for two tyres and wheel tracking for my old Ford Fiesta. It should have been a straightforward job. The tyres themselves seem fine, but the whole process took far too long. I was booked in for four in the afternoon and did not get out until nearly five thirty, with no explanation for the delay. When it came time to pay, the person behind the desk initially quoted me one price, but after I showed him the numbers I had worked out the night before, he agreed to the lower amount and said he had forgotten to apply a code in the system. The worst part is that I am not convinced they did the tracking properly. The steering wheel no longer points straight ahead when driving straight, which was not the case before. I will wait to see if the company responds before I escalate this to their head office.
